ABOUT ME
No one chooses the pain life brings. But we do get to choose how we live through it.
I started Can’t Change That out of my own grief. I’m not a counselor or an expert—I’m a wife, a mom, and a woman who has faced deep loss and is still learning to carry it with faith and grace. My journey has been marked by heartache, but also by unexpected moments of hope after loss.
Whether you’re grieving the death of a loved one, walking through pregnancy loss, or supporting someone in sorrow, I want you to know—you are not alone. Grief may never fully go away, but it can become something we carry with compassion, courage, and even joy in time.
Here, you’ll find:
- Honest reflections from my own story
- Journaling prompts to help you process your loss
- Encouragement rooted in faith
- Practical tools for walking through the hardest seasons
I believe in honoring pain, not rushing it. There’s no deadline for healing—whether you’re in the first fog of loss or revisiting grief from years ago. Wherever you are on the journey, you are welcome here.
If you’re new, you might start with my post Do I Grieve Like I Have No Hope?—a reflection on faith, sorrow, and the quiet strength it takes to keep going.
Let this be a place of connection, honesty, and grace. One small step at a time, together.
